Can I choose the clothing items in my bundle?
While you can select the category (e.g., gender and age range) and subscription type (e.g., Platinum, Essentials, Gentle Worn), the specific clothing items in each bundle are curated by our team to ensure a well-rounded selection that meets your child's needs for the season.
How long do subscriptions last?
Subscriptions with Modern Closet last a minimum of 3.5 months, providing flexibility and convenience for parents. You can swap out your bundles after this time for the next seasonal drop. After the initial 3.5-month period, you have the option to continue your subscription or cancel it.
What happens if my child outgrows the clothing before the subscription period ends?
With our subscription service, you have the flexibility to swap your bundle for a different size or style as your child grows. Simply contact our customer support team, and we'll arrange for a seamless exchange.
Are the clothing items in the bundles new?
Yes, all clothing items in our Platinum and Essentials ranges are brand new with tags still attached. Our Gentle Worn range consists of gently used items that have been meticulously inspected to ensure quality and comfort.
How often are new bundles available?
We design our bundles seasonally, so you can expect fresh and relevant styles with each new delivery. New bundles are typically available for subscription at the beginning of each season (3-4 months). You will be notified when our new drop happens so if you are ready to swap out based on your little ones' growth, you can.

How do rentals work?

- Return. Swap outgrown clothes for the next size up. Free returns make life easy.
- Renew. And just like magic, we'll send out your next bundle.
What if there is damage to the clothing?
Don’t worry; we recognise that there will be general wear and tear with the clothing. If anything significant happens, you can contact our team and we will work on solutions with you if needed.
What fabric is used in the bundles?
Our brands provide clothing from a mixture of different fabrics. Our main clothing items are Mareno, organic cotton, and cotton.
Are the gently worn clothes clean?
We clean and sanitise all clothing for our second-hand clothing bundles using eco-friendly products, removing stains, and killing any germs, so you can trust they are sanitised appropriately for your little ones.
What if I lose an item?
Don’t worry; if you misplace a clothing item, let our team know as soon as possible and we can come to a solution.
How to cancel my subscription?
To cancel your subscription, please use our contact us form located on our website and select "cancel my subscription". You have to return your bundle and once this has been received, Modern closet will cancel your subscription for you and you will be notified via email when this has been completed.
